ProfessorPaulDoherty,doctoral supervisor of Education School and Deputy Director for the Center ofExcellence in Learning and Teaching at the University of Central Lancashire UK, came to HUHST to carry out the work plan of the second phase of the project of “Famous Overseas Teachers”from Sep.2 to Sep.22.

During the working period, Doherty not only gave lessons and academic lectures to the students and teachers of Chinese-Foreign joint program , but looked into the poverty alleviation village linked to HUHST and went on the work of poverty alleviation in the primary school of Changshi village, Shuiche Town, Xinhua County. In the school, Doherty demonstrated the English class pattern for teachers and students and received a warm welcome from them.
